What a cracking day we had for our ride-out! The weather gods smiled upon us and allowed us to come out and play on the Wings.

We started out at the Beaufort following our monthly meeting which I kept short deliberately as there was a large contingent of GNWest riders who had come for a tour with us. Of course, we managed to catch Pete Rowe on the hop as he only had his little 650 at home- never mind he bought that along instead of his Wing.

A nice leisurely drive across to Ruthin then through Clocaenog to Cerrigydrudion, where we joined the A5 traffic westbound. A steady run along the old London to Holyhead (more…)

Mr’ Butty Box’ Kevin Edwards and his camera shy misses Sandra had a bit of a do on Saturday Night.

Several Goldwingers were invited – in fact, everyone in Goldwings North Wales and some Cheshire Wingers were invited, along with some others who didn’t manage to make it. I can only say it was their loss, because the ‘Do’ went well.

Kevin and Sandra really went to town on ensuring that nobody went home hungry with probably the best buffet that I have ever seen.This was followed by a disco which … (more…)

I’ve just returned from a great day out with Janet, having been out on the trike to the GoldWings North West Meeting then onto Rivington Barn.

It started off with Nigel, the ladies and me meeting up at a rather early hour. I had been told that Pete would meet us there so just the solo and the trike travelling up.

Now anyone who knows Nigel will be aware that he is hydrophobic – he doesn’t do wet at all.  So you can all guess what happened inside 5 miles!
