The RBLR1000 rally takes place on June 19-20 with a team from GoldWings North West taking part. Members Adrian Cresswell, Dave & Toni Bayliss, Barry Halley, Ted Rogerson, James Melia, and Steve Fox have all registered for the 1000 mile in 24 hours ordeal.
Team leader Adrian Cresswell, soon to be known as Iron Butt Crezz, is asking for your financial support in sponsoring the team. They are all personally responsible for their own fuel and food costs during the 24 hour rally period, this is plus the time and mileage taken to get to the start point and back home.
Please visit the fundraising website and donate what you can to the teams efforts. I also urge that if you are a UK tax payer, which most of us are, you Gift Aid your donation. This means that the tax you have already paid on your money is claimed back from the tax man. A £20.00 donation with Gift Aid receives a tax refund of £5.64 from the tax man and works out at a total of £25.64. How good is that.
Their target is to raise £1000 for the appeal, lets give some effort into supporting them.

Thanks Dave for putting this on.
Hopefully we will raise even more monies for the Poppy Appeal.
Thanks North Wales for your support.

Adrian,
Thanks for that link. I must admit that I wasn’t fully aware of the work of the RBL. Having watched the video I can understand the need to support this organisation.
