The February Tweenie was held at the Tudor Rose Pub, Two Mills on the Wirral on Saturday 6th February.
This was a new location for us and it was lucky that I had phoned up in advance as the Manager decided to reserve an area for us. It was a wise decision as the pub was quite busy throughout the evening.
We had a largish attendance of 19 people; Dave and Elaine, Ian and Val, Nigel and Jo, Paul and Jane, Carl and Maureen, Steve and Colly, Ed and Anne, Steve C-P, Derek and Babs and finally Jan and I.
It was also nice to have visitors from Cheshire and Merseyside Wings to whom we had extended an invite.
Ian and Val even arrived on their GoldWing despite thick fog and very cold temperatures. They were the only brave ones, though I’m sure Ed would have turned up on his bike if Anne would have let him.
I did notice something very strange during the evening, Nigel changed his habit of a life-time by NOT ordering fish and chips (Yes. honest!) and opting instead for liver and bacon in a Yorkshire Pudding base.
It was a very pleasant evening with plenty of chatting and socialising.
The Tudor Rose did us proud and I think we may go back there again for another social in the future.

Thats amazing, Nigel ordering anything else but Fish & Chips. Although I can see why, the Yorkshire pud dish does look pretty good.

Did Nigel check with Jo first. You never know with liver and bacon in a Yorkshire Pudding base, Nigel does not eat foreign food…..
